Solo Show Performance

Whether it’s ordering a cold brew at Starbucks or dancing at a 90s hip-hop party, Peter Liu often finds himself the only straight, Chinese-American man in the room. After spending a weekend at an adult grief summer camp in the same position, Peter was asked by an employee, who knew nothing about him, to write them an essay on Asian-American mental health and how amazing it was to speak openly about grief, despite years of being in therapy and leading a grief group. He never wrote that essay, but in “Enough Already,” Peter shares his honest takes on just how absurd relationships, masculinity, success, and taking care of your mental health can be through a fusion of stand-up comedy and storytelling.
